How much Total hit you have? (cacheex=3)

Hi Friends,

How much percents you have in Total hit field with cacheex=3?

For me this is most important indicator about every cache server.

Mine percents are

3.75%

in that moment and increase to 5% during the evenings.

mine is now at 0,24 %

it all depends on what cards there are in cache, if you have 0100, i get a lot of cache that i don't use since i only got 0100:6A and 6C in proxies, all the others i don't use but i receive them...

I think that if you exchange cache only for caid that you currently use (for watching or normal exchange). This percentages are indicator about the quality of received cache. If you exchange many caids and don`t use the all of them this percentages are not accurate indicator.

yes, indeed, but is there a way to receive only 0100:00006A and 0100:00006c? i dont need cyfra, orf, canal + france, ... In the ecm filter i can only put 0100 right?

I think it's more useful to look at the stats on the USERS tab in Oscam. At the bottom the totals for the server show how well your cache is used:

Eg. for my server:
Cache hits: 20872
OK: 626

That makes a cache hitrate of 97%.
