Humax 5400 + FUNCARD - ANY USERS IN 2013?

My kit: HUMAX 5400
Funcard + card "burner"

As it is 6+ years since I used this system I'd like a couple of tips.
If there is anyone out there STILL using funcard, I'd appreciate knowing:

* Which settings files you are using
* Which channel files you are using ( I remember peet1234 (???).nl from years ago but cannot locate it)

and roughly what you get !

I have had a good look in the tutorial section and around the net but because this setup is so OLD I see almost nothing of up-to-date use!

A good fun card is only necessary as a catalyst for any opening process of scrambled channels. A monthly file with keys for some channels is issued and you can load it using Samsung key loader programme while connecting humax by rs232 cable to your computer.The most useful thing is to use sharing file while connecting to internet but unfortunately our servers providers did not supply us with sharing files since many months.

We need help of our friends here to give us a working server, as I was using it for more than 1 year after my subscription of my new receiver Star HD A1000 was finished on internet sharing.

Because of new scrambling systems like irdeto 2 and others only way is to have official cards or internet sharing or satellite sharing(Eutelsat 3). You need file of sharing server may you can subscribe here or other sites.

Hey guys - a slightly generic post / question about the 5400, so please forgive me.




I'm interested to know if anyone is still actually using a HUMAX 5400 for anything other than basic FTA channels.




Any funcard users here? I note that there seeemd to be a few files for funcard (monthlies) kicking about. Interested in your experiences and current usage. Thanks!

Dear friend I told you new scrambling systems not solved and will not simply because keys are changed every 2 minutes. You need to get official cards by paying subscription. Other way is by sharing. one way is sharing by internet.2nd way is sharing by satellite where new receivers have 2 tuners 1 for receiving channels and other tuner for satellite eutelsat 3 will bring down keys.
i hope you understand.For humax you need computer connected to internet and connected to humax by cable rs 232 and sharing file either you get it free from our friends here or by subscription.

some few channels like rai of Italy are scrambled by Biss system. Keys are changed every month where you can load key file from here by programme mentioned above but still few channels which are not interesting. Mainly sharing for aljazeera sports and many other channels like canal+.
