The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has taken electronic counter measures against pirates.
The operator changed encoding in DRE Crypt 2 for Access Card 13th series.
As a result, all viewers using emulated cards or card sharing services were cut off from most of the HD channels on Friday, February 15.
Tricolor offers a large number of HD channels including Infochannel HD, Voyage HD, Cinema HD-1, Cinema HD-2, Women’s World, Sport 1 HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, National Geographic HD, Expert HD and Temptation HD.
Currently only two channels can be watched with pirated cards, Teleputeshestviya HD and Hunting and Fishing HD.
