Hi all, I have a Humax 5400Z and I am able to upload hdf and bin files ok, BUT my problem is I dont understand what "TPS" is I am aware that some channels are protected by a "TPS Autoroll" type scrambling BUT When I upload the firmware and settings and set the caid I do not notice any difference, can someone please tell me what channels are supposed to work after uploading the various updates to the STB, I am in the UK and usually use Hotbird or the Astra sats.

• THERE IS a tps.hdf file in the zip file from above post.
• You have to use DSR_9500_EMU_Ed56_CW in order to upload that tps.hdf file into your Humax.
  Be sure to check "Humax Def" and "Verify from box ON" in ? -> Settings menu.
• Date/Time of your Humax have to be correct, with good GMT.
• Be sure to set Humax to an FTA channel before uploading.
• Use original ToH3.4_HoT7.9
• Set CAID to CARD+EMU

I made a mistake :

• tps.hdf have to be uploaded with HDF Smart
• key.bin with DSR 9500 Emu Ed56

listen to the truth tps is different to multivision.you need daily keys for multivision.totally different to tps.

hi, can someone told me how to update my humax correctly? im verry out to date with updating because i have no time at the moment...
i know how tu upload the fw but i dont know how to update the keys etc.
i need a little howto for the keys and the new files.
thanks allot

listen to the truth tps is different to multivision.you need daily keys for multivision.totally different to tps.

hmmm I have never had TPS without Multi and the other way :)

Yesterday, I was out to date, and it takes me long time to understand ;)
So, i'll try to make a little "how to", considering my bad english.
I'm a really novice in Sat, so, I don't know if it'll work for you...
I only know how to make T*S working.

1. Update with the latest "ToH3.4 HoT7.9" by using HDF Smart v1.8
2. Find a key.bin. Upload it with DSR 9500 Emu Ed56 CW
- Menu ? -> Settings -> Humax Def
- Menu ? -> Settings -> Verify from box ON
3. Find the last TPS.HDF (b.bilge works for me) and upload it with HDF Smart v1.8 (Note that tps.bin can be converted in tpd.hdf with a tool such "Humax AES v11"
4. Choose CAID : CARD+EMU in Humax Menu -> ToH -> Config
5. You maybe have to update your PMCTable (with .csv of b.bilge), but I don't know why, i didn't need it.

I probably forgot something, but try like that and comment here.
