Re: how to put CW key manually in Humax

This is a copy & paste from another forum:

How to enter Constant Control Word keys in Humax

For some strange reason, nowhere is information available about how to enter constant control word keys (or DCW keys) in a Humax reciever. Some claim it's even impossible. For your information, these DCW keys are occasionally available for channels like ***View, Redlight, B4U Movies and MCT.

However, it can be done! The trick is to enter these values into the PMC table, using the following format:

    channel name,0021,serviceid, caid,Block1,Block2,B lock3,Block4,0000
    channel name,0021,serviceid, caid,Block5,Block6,B lock7,Block8,0000

Block=4 digits of the DCW string

For example, you have the DCW string for ***ViewDP and it would be:
    0B828A160A44A1CD72FE 54C43A5FA22A
    (fictional example!)

***ViewDP has service-id 14005, which is 36B5 in hex
It uses Irdeto 2, so the caid is 0606

Now this would translate to the following entries in the Humax PCM table

    ***ViewDP,0021,36B5,0B82,8A16,0A44,A1CD, 0000
    ***ViewDP,0021,36B5,72FE,54C4,3A5F,A22A, 0000

Note that every channel uses 2 lines in the table!

I'd say, spread the word. Humax CAN use DCW keys!
