Hi

You really need to know what you are doing in order to use
a Z-Board, there also might be another problem depending
on the age of your model.

When humax found that Z-Boards where being used to
change the loader they started to cover the points which
you connect to using the Z-Board with a glue/resin to
stop it.

If thats the case for you then it has to be removed first
which is not an easy job.

Finding a Z-Board is no easy job either.

hi,
i back up x111 in his comments, as the software is dated 2004, i doubt very much that it will be able to be patched, as the later models had even more resin covering the area needed, but if you want to try i would only suggest trying to find the supplier and asking them
i would think the easiest way is to get a cam, ie a dragon

hi monastirith,
beware, you have the 5400Z +, be cautious if you get it into your mind to update the patch, as this model has a different tuner to the rest of the 5400/z models, if this is a new purchase it might be best to ask them as to the correct procedure.
otherwise do a google for humax-zone, there is a good thread on there regarding updating 5400Z+

What type of aladin file is best to use if i put the cerebrocard staight to my humax 5400z?

Hi kassi,
The file to use is Cerebro_aladin_0383CZ.hex.
It's works fine in Humax 5400Z
