NEW-Uploader V3.00 for Humax.zip![]()
As I know Emu keys, PMC Tables, Key.bin keys are all for the codes for the channels.
What is the differences between them, and when we use each.
Thank you

Hello...
Pliz i need help,
I got keys from internet but how to put keys on Humax VA-ACE?I use a fun card... thanks a lot

Emu only has N2 keys, the rest is changeable by uploading a key.bin. PCM tables don't have provider keys,

(...)So what is a PMC table anyway ? and more to the point - why would you want to edit one?PMT - Program\Provider Map Table
PMCT - Program\Provider Map Controller TableOk I will put this in the layman's terms so you can understand - When you tuned your humax into a certain frequency and picked up your channel - that signal you picked up is split into different parts (Streams):These parts are as follows - Picture (Mpeg 2 video stream), Audio(Mpeg2 or Ac3 stream), Teletext, Subtitles and some other stuff we are not concerned about for this tutorial. Now say a certain channel is broadcasting for seca2(Seca Mediagaurd) with two audio and video streams and also NDS(videogaurd). We don't need the extra streams to watch our channels but we need to have the correct ones to get the picture clearing on our TV's, so we sometimes need to force the humax to use the correct audio and video streams (Because the humax just uses the first ones it comes across) - which we shall now refer to as ECM pids.(...)

...I have one smartcard here with me. I tried to use it, loaded keys, pmc table and everything on my Hummy but still channels were scrambled. Im tuned to Nilesat. The card description as follows: Open Platform ,Series Mach1, V1.2 Ger. Is this a Funcard 6in1 or what?
If i buy a new card Funcard 6in1, what should i ask the vendor to program in this, so that i can use it in hummy?

First i have to say sorry for having my first post as a question, but just struggling to get my head around the info i have found.
Got a VA-Fox that had Cabo working fine for over a year, most of the channels died last month. I have been trauling the net for info and found loads of thinks on Humax receivers, but is the process different for the VA-Fox, dont want to kill it.
Seems to happened to a few people, what has changed? Just confused on what step to take first, does it need a firmware update or just write a new card or both.
Sorry again for my first post to be a question but no much info on va-fox out there, or im just slow on the uptake - which is more than likely.
Thanks in advance for any info
1) The word Funcard is clearly printed on such a card. I'm sorry I don't know what the card is that you refer to.
2) As far as I'm aware you will need a genuine subscription card to receive any encrypted channels on Nilesat. Buying a Funcard would thus seem pointless unless you can receive channels from an alternative satellite such as Astra or Hotbird.
3) It is unlikely that a vendor will program a Funcard or any other card for you. They normally sell genuine subscription cards or blank programmable cards like Funcards.
4) If you are going to buy a Funcard you will need to buy a programmer as well unless you can borrow one from a friend. This means more expense.
I'm sorry this is not more positive.
