how to install key dm500s

for camd3, you need to put camd3.key in /var/keys

my greatest problem is how can i FTP the camd3 & its key into my dm, i have been trying over a month but couldn,t succeded till this moment.pleas kindly assist. thanks.

you need a ftp client on your computer.
Look at your net conf of your dreambox. Default setting is dhcp, but you can change
to a static ip config. This is the better way to know the ip number of your dreambox.

After, you can ftp to your dreambox

user : root
password : dreambox

change dir to /var/keys and upload your file.

sorry but i have the same problem,im also newbe..with what program we must send the keys,what are the commands.for example i tried: run.. then ftp(ipofthebox), then username and password,after???thank you
