But please tell me is there any difference in uploading that of SRT 4669ME and that of SRT4669X MyTV? Also, what is the advantage of having the latest pacth? are they usefull for codes? if they are, what type of codes can i use and for which purpose?

egbaman, do not download that patch 108p for 69x, its been corrupted !!

I downloaded both files but my 9x didn't receive the 4669ME 109p it says wrong software but it accepted the MyTV 108p but the 6969 didn't work properly so, i go back to my original patch 107p Dec 8 2009. Now i have downloaded another 108p 20100318, i just hope it works.

Hi all.

In using the rs232 cable to transfer firmware to my decoder. Will the LNB still has to be attached to the decoder? Also, the decoder suppose to be ON, which STATE of ON should it be, STANDBY or FINAL ON?

it should be ok the LNB attached
and the decoder should be on at the end but you can start/connect with the switch off..

Are you saying that the decoder has to be attached to the LNB for the software transfer can be done?

It can also be done with the SWITCH OFF?
