Did you already now this problem? I think that not everyone is knowing this.
Stealth in global CCcam settings and/or user-settings let CCcam protocol use 1 thread, so all processing is done sequencially, not parallel.
I dont know the further/exact characteristics of stealth mode, well look into that now.. Will update later. Meanwhile, i cant think of any situation where this should be used with CE connections, since both ends are oscam anyways.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

The worst trouble is, cache size is twice and half bigger.

Oscam version 8894 cache size approx 9000 , 8922 about 22000. The same config, stealth off, only 1 group

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

Whats "worse" about having more in cache ?
Higher size + higher cpu/usage is normal/expected in 8895 without config modifications. (read streamboard links i posted earlier)

Lower your hops, if CPU raises too high.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

I know Max_count has been removed. But in 8894 it still works. Since I reverted back to 8894 this is still present in the config.
All received cache is in group 50. Local cards are put in different groups and with the reader I do also send my cache from my own locals.
SO I do NOT use differnet groups for the received cache, so there cannot be a loop problem.

I did test user/reader in the same group and yes there is a cache loopback with my test.

I saw the other posting about cw cycle check and found out that when you turn off cw cycle check the problem is gone.. so there seems to be a mismatch between cw cycle check and the ecm handler patch...

Please tell me what question I did not answer ?

I understand that with a CE share, but sometimes you needed with a normal share. I see in my CE list that the most people are using the stealth mode, so not everyone know this problem. Have you seen my post on the CW cycle bug. When goes the CW cycle patch to the trunk?

I wrote not the right question, but I already know.

I wonder wherefore.. as i really cant see any benefit.. However.. using them on these shares is no problem. (also not when mixed with CE share)

I have no idea, its blaky's project and i dont use it... However.. seen the bugs with CacheEX, i assume not anytime soon.
I assist blueven, so i have all insight info about cache-ex.. not CWC... srry.

Not so relevant anymore, the cause is clear.. Problem relies around CWC code, so now we know where to look.

    --

Try to remove the stealth options (cccstealth = 1) from your users, and from cc-cam global settings if it exists and restart oscam..
    Report if that solves it...

    @CapNCook

Good job! The problem with the CW Cycle is solved in build 8923. No cache loopback anymore if you turn on the CW Cycle.

Please use the CW Cycle patch (CW Cycle patch is on) or you will have problems with stop sending cache to your friends.
*Tested with 8923 without the patch.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

Don't use that. Please put everyone in one group and upgrade you're OScam build to 8930. Only you need to do is not use the stealth mode with a cache exchange.
