    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

on # 8938 here I don't have any here problems.

I get some questions of the problem is solved in the latest build > NO. What CapNCool already said 'You don't need a stealth mode with a cache exchange'.

also some clients, ive know have disabled stealth mode, still shows cccam and not cccam extended ?

I also have some clients with the same problem, but they don't changed correctly. It must work. (Reboot OScam after the change)

    Option 1:

    1) Add this by every user cache exchange in the OScam.user file:
    cccstealth = 0
    2) Reboot OScam

    Option 2:

    1) Open OScam
    2) Go to CONFIGURATION
    3) CCcam
    4) Put the Stealth mode on DISABLE
    5) Remove the cccstealth in the OScam.user file by every cache exchange
    6) Reboot OScam

With a Cache-EX in mode3 exchange you don't need to see your cards. This has nothing to do with the stealth mode.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

For several days, I attempt, unsuccessfully, to turn off stealth mode. I tried everything described in this thread, I changed various builds of oscam, turn on and off other parameters of the global section, but I always see cccam and not cccam ext. Please if anyone knows what is the reason to say!?

not much can stop cccam-extended . remove node id and restart oscam .

Same thing here, i think that it has to do with the version, on my side you show up as cccam-ext! version 8755 (i have version 8713). i've also set all the params correct on my cache server, on the cardserver i get following: the proxie that connect doesn't get cccam ext. (the cline to the cache server) on the other hand the user that connects to me is cccam ext. (cardserver version is 8923).

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

Remove node id, solve the problem, stealth mode is off. Now I see cccam ext.

Today, however, I notice another anomaly: the size of the cache is twice as large compared to yesterday, without changing anything in the configuration (reason is not stealth mode, checked). This unexpectedly, the increase in size of the cache, is not leading to a higher percentage of hits, on the contrary. Furthermore, problem with memory leak, is still fact.

    Edit:
Severe increase in the size cache, probably associated with this fix from last night: http://www.streamboard.tv/oscam/changeset/8941

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

when i remove the node id and i click save, there appears a new node id. It seems to be random generated everytime i save the config.

but it seems to have solved the problem, now i als see the users as cccam ext.

IIRC setting a fake or incorrect Node ID will prevent cccam ext. Removing the fake/incorrect ID, Oscam generated a fresh and valid one which restored cccam ext.
