Number of best readers and fallback readers

Hi!

I'm trying to prevent freezes in my VUDUO with Oscam
I have about 20 peers but I still have some minor freezes...

Could you advise on the number of best readers and fallback readers?
Could you also comment on clienttimeout and fallbacktimeout?

Hi all

I have much the same issue. Without LB turned on, peers respond within 0.2 or so. However, once I turn on the Loadbalancer, I start to get timeouts and things get progressively worse. With the LB off, I get channels instantaneously. Like the OP, I too have about 20 peers.

I think that with loadbalancer turned off Oscam sends requests to all readers so in ~20 readers you should always get a valid response.
With loadbalancer mode 1 you only send requests to your fastest readers but you could get some timeouts...
The advantage fo LB is that you don't flood your readers with requests and should get less CPU load...
We must find the lb_nbest_readers and lb_nfb_readers sweet spot to get best of both.
That's how I see it.
