The done deals from the summer transfer window
    FOREST FINALISE BIANCONE DEAL
Nottingham Forest have made French defender Giulian Biancone their third signing following promotion to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old arrives at the City Ground from Ligue 1 side Troyes on a three-year deal to join on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson and Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi as new recruits for Forest boss Steve Cooper.

Biancone, who has represented France Under-19s, told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “I am very happy to arrive at a club like Nottingham Forest after a good experience with my former club Troyes.

“I know it’s a big club, very known across Europe and I’m very excited to be joining the club, with its great fanbase and history."

    CARVALHO LANDS IN LIVERPOOL
Liverpool have made their signing of Fabio Carvalho on a free transfer from Fulham official.

The 19-year-old turned down a new deal at Craven Cottage to sign a five-year contract with the Reds in May.

“It’s just an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest. So, I’m just happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started,” Carvalho told the club's official website.

    FULHAM AGREE PALHINHA DEAL
After a slow start to the summer, Fulham have agreed a £20m deal with Sporting CP for Joao Palhinha.

With the 26-year-old set to become Marco Silva's first signing of this transfer window, the move for the Portuguese midfielder is expected to progress quickly.

    BARCA 'OPTIMISTIC' ON DEMBELE DEAL
Barcelona are 'optimistic' in sealing the signature of Ousmane Dembele to a new two-year contract at the club, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The France international's prior deal at the Nou Camp expired last week and he has been linked to a number of Europe's top clubs, but appears to be staying at Barca

Dembele was a creative force in La Liga last season, recording 13 assists from 9.14 expected assists (xA) despite limited action, averaging 0.57 xA per 95 minutes.

UNITED INSIST RONALDO IS NOT FOR SALE
Manchester United are adamant Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale despite the frustrated star reportedly asking the club to leave if an acceptable offer arrives.

Ronaldo has reportedly asked to be allowed to leave if a satisfactory offer arrives, but it is understood a senior United source has indicated that the forward is not for sale.

The stance was the same last weekend when it emerged that agent Jorge Mendes had discussed his client in a meeting with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

Ronaldo has one year remaining on the deal he signed last summer and new United boss Erik ten Hag has expressed his excitement at working with the record-breaking Portugal international.

Tottenham have been busy strengthening Antonio Conte’s squad for next season, with Richarlison signed from Everton in a £60million deal.

The Brazilian forward follows goalkeeper Fraser Forster, veteran Croatia international Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma into the north London club.

    RONALDO WANTS UCL FOOTBALL?
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly urged Manchester United to accept a suitable offer for him this summer, as he wants to continue playing Champions League football.

Lee Bowyer: Sacked as Birmingham manager
Birmingham have parted company with manager Lee Bowyer amid uncertainty regarding a proposed takeover at St Andrew’s.

Bowyer was in charge for 16 months, steering the club to safety after his appointment in March 2020 and then guiding them to 20th place in the Sky Bet Championship last term.

Former QPR assistant John Eustace is reportedly in line to replace him.

NEW DEAL FOR DAVIES AT SHEFF UNITED
Wales goalkeeper Adam Davies has signed a new two-year deal at Sheffield United.

Davies, 29, joined from Stoke in January but has yet to make a senior appearance for the club, with Wes Foderingham the number one at Bramall Lane.

“We are pleased that Davo has decided to extend his stay with us,” Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom told the club website.

“He could have gone to other Championship clubs, but he made it clear he saw his future here.

“Davo re-signing means we have two really experienced goalkeepers on the books for next season and we feel that is vitally important at this level.”

Davies won his fourth Wales cap against the Netherlands in the Nations League last month and is set to be part of Robert Page’s World Cup squad in Qatar later this year.

Fellow Blades goalkeeper Jake Eastwood has also agreed fresh terms on a two-year contract, with the 25-year-old expected to be loaned out for first-team experience.

    TARKOWSKI IS A TOFFEE
Everton have made their first signing of the summer with former Burnley defender James Tarkowski joining on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old’s arrival had been anticipated after his contract at Turf Moor expired on Thursday, and he has now signed a four-year deal at Goodison Park.

“I’m excited to have joined Everton,” said the twice-capped England defender.

“It’s a massive club. I’m really looking forward to the years ahead and I’m thankful for the opportunity that I’ve been given.”

Manchester-born Tarkowski spent the last six seasons at Burnley, forming a strong partnership with Ben Mee, and he had been frequently linked with a move away prior to the Clarets’ relegation at the end of last season.

Everton director of football Kevin Thelwell said: “We are delighted to welcome a player of James’ quality to Everton and believe he will be an excellent addition to our squad.

“The statistics show that James has consistently been one of the Premier League’s most reliable defenders in recent years. Added to his playing attributes, his excellent leadership skills and experience will be a huge benefit, too.”

    WATFORD STRIKE-A-DEAL
Sky Bet Championship Watford have signed Ivory Coast striker Vakoun Bayo on a five-year deal from Charleroi.

The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at the Belgian club, where he scored 11 goals in 16 matches, before they activated a deal to sign him permanently.

Bayo, who is nicknamed ‘The Crow’, played in Tunisia and Slovakia before joining Celtic in January 2019.

He made just 17 appearances for Celtic and spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Toulouse before moving to Gent and then Charleroi in December.

    MAN UNITED LEAD LISANDRO RACE
Erik ten Hag's Manchester United are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Argentinian centre-back Lisandro Martinez from Ajax.

Arsenal are also interested, but it is claimed that Martinez is keen on a reunion with his former boss and the Old Trafford club have submitted their first offer to the Eredivisie side, who are holding out for £41m.

    FOREST SIGNING
Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest have completed their second signing of the summer, with goalkeeper Dean Henderson joining on loan from Manchester United.

The England international, 25, played second fiddle to David De Gea at Old Trafford last term, making just three United appearances across all competitions.

The goalkeeper has now joined promoted Forest in search of regular first-team football, having flourished between the sticks during previous loan spells at Sheffield United between 2018 and 2020.

The agreement does not include an option to buy and Henderson cannot play against United as part of the terms.

    DONE DEAL!
Inter Milan have completed the signing of former Manchester United and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The 33-year-old Armenian has agreed a two-year contract and joins on a free after leaving Roma.

There had been a stumbling block over the 30-year-old’s wage demands, but a delegation flew out to meet with the player, who is still currently on holiday in the Mediterranean, and came to an agreement which makes the forward the highest-paid player in the club’s history.

CHELSEA BOOSTED IN DE LIGT CHASE
Thomas Tuchel’s ability to coax the best out of defenders is central to Chelsea’s pursuit of Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt, according to the PA news agency.

Chelsea are thought to have been encouraged to continue negotiations with Juventus due to the Netherlands defender’s admiration for Blues boss Tuchel.

De Ligt is understood to be keen to work under Tuchel, having seen how the German coach helped the likes of Toni Rudiger thrive at Chelsea.

The Blues have emerged as favourites to sign De Ligt should the 22-year-old leave Juventus this summer, with the Old Lady hierarchy accepting his desire for a new challenge.

Chelsea are reported to be ready to include either Christian Pulisic or Timo Werner in their bid package for De Ligt, with talks with Juventus expected to continue.

Richarlison has now become Tottenham’s fourth summer signing, following Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma into the north London club.

Tottenham are expected to continue pushing for new recruits, with moves for Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence and Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet both mooted.

Spurs are understood to have fended off competition from both Arsenal and Chelsea to complete the high-profile deal for Richarlison.

    FOREST IN FOR TERRIERS' TOFFOLO

The 26-year-old has just a year left on his contract at the John Smith's Stadium.

And Forest, who pipped the Terriers to promotion to the Premier League at Wembley in May, hope that will convince Huddersfield to sell rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.
