    When did the January transfer window open?
    For Premier League and Sky Bet EFL clubs, and most clubs across Europe, the winter transfer window reopened on Monday, January 1, 2024.

    When does the January transfer window close?
    In England and Scotland, the transfer window closes at 23:00 GMT on Thursday, February 1. Across Europe, the other major leagues are using the same date but will close their windows at varying times: La Liga (23:00 GMT), Ligue 1 (22:00 GMT), Serie A (19:00 GMT), Bundesliga (17:00 GMT).

    Saudi Arabia (January 30), Portugal (February 2) and Turkey (February 9) are all using different dates for the end of their summer window.

    The Women's Super League (WSL) window runs from Monday, Jan 1 to Wednesday, Jan 31.

    Can clubs sign players outside the transfer window?
    Even when the transfer window closes, players who are unattached will still be able to sign for clubs.
