Televisión Valenciana opens €11.4 million content tender

Televisión Valenciana (RTTV) is opening a tender for €11.4 million to buy shows to complete its schedule. According to Europa Press, the offers can be made for Canal 9 and 9/24, the two public channels of the regional TV station.

The tender is divided into three different programming blocks. The first aims to create a daily magazine, including entertainment and kids shows, for 487 hours programming. For this purpose there is a maximum of €3.2 million.

The second batch is for a daily show, a morning programme and a weekly magazine for at least 476 hours and with a maximum budget of €2.95 million.

The third block of programmes intends to schedule four different weekly shows and at least six educational programmes about different topics, such as agriculture, traditions, tourism, gastronomy, music and environment. For this block there is a minimum of 408 hours and a budget of €3.3 million.

The productions have to be in the Valencian language and must be delivered before 10 September.

By outsourcing content, RTTV is aiming to make its schedule more dynamic.
