Il poliziotto che segue le indagini utilizzerà un ipnotista per cercare di far svelare al ragazzo sopravvissuto dettagli sull'accaduto. A fronte di qualche piccola incongruenza e ingenuità narrativa, la trama è avvicente, il ritmo non concitato ma neanche sonnolento, con dei bei colpi di scena e una drammatica scena finale. Splendide ambientazioni nell'inverno svedese. Bel thriller.
