Someone hack my server!!!!!!

Hello,

I have a gbox server and do card$haring but one of them hack my server and it's out of order!! a lot of problem to solve that! I'm sure it's one of them but i need some evidences how can I see on my gbox or server and how can I secure for the futur?????? Can some help me and give step by step a process (if you have an explanation in french it's will be great but it's not necessary)

first off all its good that youre box is messed up BECAUSE
the only way they could do that is with port 21 open or 23 open or 22 open
and sorry to say so but that is very stupid and you bring alot of people in danger by doing so

so how to do
close port 21 22 23 always
change youre pasword of the dreambox
just open a telnet session and log on to the box
then TYPE PASSWD and press enter
make a new pasword like APm38h56s2k99G42MMAg23
AND NOW LET ME SEE IF THEY CRACK IT AGAIN

sorry mister but i think its very foolish to be hacked
and you should be glad that it was not youre provider who did it
every peer should try to break in to theire peers box
then it would be alot safer in the scene
just yesterday a whole cwshare was posted and this guy was a commercial server also
so i hope all will learn from this

Surely NO! unless the ftp http and telnet ports are open on the firewall. right ???

hmm i hope people cant just hack in ... i doubt anyone changes the root dreambox password
