Numericable launches OTT TV service with TeVolution

French cable operator Numericable is now reaching non-cabled areas with the launch of a triple-play ADSL offer across the Gallic territory, which includes an OTT service in partnership with French ADSL services provider TeVolution.

TeVolution provides innovative connected TV services including a hybrid box DTT/IP.

Potential subscribers to Numericable packages need an ADSL connection of at least 2Mbps to receive the TV service.

Among the three packages available, two include the OTT service: Essentiel offers 20Mbps Internet access, unlimited phone calls and 50 TV channels for a monthly fee of €34.90; the most expensive package comprises Essentiel plus numerous additional themed channels and is priced at €42.90.

TV subscribers also need to rent a special HD box for €5 a month.
