On a side note...
Having had similar experiences with a Dbox2, in the area of Software Emulation(s),.
I was under the understanding that such Emulators had to be compiled into the Distro. One wanted to use. (i.e. Yadi, Neutrino or Enigma),.
Given that there's not much difference (internally speaking), between the Dbox2 or the Dreambox, perhaps it would be better to try and find some premade Distro. Like the above that already has the Emulators already built-in.
... Or at the least would allow you to download them later to your STB over the Internet, such as the Enigma or Key-World Images do.
I know and coincide that the Dream and Dbox are not exactly the same thing, but like the Dbox there are enough Pre-made Images for the Dream (w/Emulation), out there, for those who do not have any practical *'nux experience at compiling there own code.
The only thing I'm sure of is that unless your 'Distro' actually supports Emulation. (Neutrino for instance ~for legal reasions~ does not), then you can't get Emulation to work by simply dropping a few ~unlinked~ Files onto your Box and expect it to work.
I say 'unlinked' 'couse that's what it sounds like what your trying to do, and sadly as you can see that does not work.
Upshot try a different Distro that already has CAMd3 built into it, and one that will allow you to update your Keys from over the Internet too.
