how to use sexview funcard files

hi all i found on another site sexview funcard file, containing a pic and a hex file, its so long since i programmed a funcard. i have forgotton which file goes where,

i have elvis programmer, once a funcard is programmed do i need a seperate cam to use with the funcard, or would card just go into card slot of humax 5400???

also have black icecyrpt/joker cam.

Hi Mick, as far as I am aware, I think the pic file is for a Gold card and the hex for a Fun card. If so it would be interesting to know how to programme a Fun card using just the hex file without an external eeprom file. I could be wrong, perhaps someone will let us know .

Sounds to me like this File is for a Goldcard.
But, that's just me...

pic.hex & eeprom.hex ====> gold silver..
but for funcard ====> flash.hex & eeprom.hex

for gold : only prog PIC
for fun : only prog EEP

also tried the 2 cards but gold gives always error in programming

fun works but not longtime.
On the board search for updater 1.6 with this you make your own files with gold and fun

I'm a newby and I have a question concerning the length of cw-keys. Please be patient if it is already answerd in another thread:
The attached zip contains a txt-file with the following comment
"You only have to update int EEprom at correct location
with new CW"
and some location:cw;label combinations for the different sexview channels, e.g.
":10003000:D7682968374977F747833A04F8820 781F8;SW247".
My problem is, that the actual cw I found (C9EC8C412322F03505DC3B1CDD033414) ist two digits shorter than the one in the hex file (D7682968374977F747833A04F8820781F8).
