Cacheex Mode 1

Hey,

I have limited bandwith at home so i wanted to do cache pull from a VPS so i don't have all the cache send to me, only the ones i need. i've set up a reader in mode 1 at home and a user in mode 1 on the vps, but i can't seem to get any hits from the cache. Groups are 1, 20 for the reader, the user has the group where all the cache is (20). cccmaxhop is -1, don't know what i'm doing wrong..., it seems so simple in the manual...

any advice?

maybe i don't have that one in cache but it says that for every channel that i want to look at :(

Are you using CCcam protocol for mode 1? If so switch to cs378x. OSCam only sends requests to CCcam readers for CAID's "broadcasted" by the reader. As no CAID's are shown with Cache-Exchange, no requests are made. This does not happen when using cs378x.

Last night i switched to camd3.5 without succes, i still got the rejected group message and no hits in the cache.

cs378x there is not much to find on the net :( do i need to recompile oscam for cs378x or how do i get the user to work. i've changed my reader to cs378x and the port was already there (in the config file [cs357x] port = 1200x), but i can not connect. (Vps_cachepul_test1 [cs378x] connect failed: Connection refused )

i've seen the PM, tnx, the reader works, but the cachepull doesn't work, still get no matching reader. i've send you a mail. Firewall is ok
