Hi guys,
keep getting a default message from - DTS Link 4 Users software,
"connection error"
"check to rs232 cable and STB Debug Mode"
its the debug mode that gets me, whats it mean,
Im trying to get the Technomate 5000 ci & software to talk to each other,
never had this bother with Samsung 9500ci,
can you help me get to the first stages of upgrading the TM5000ci.

Can you use Hyperterminal??

Bits per Second: 115200
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control: Hardware

At first guess I'd say that it's your Cable.
You need to use a Null-Modem Cable, in order for it to work.
Should you have questions about: What's a Null-Modem Cable.

I have a TM8000 HD/HR MC CI Receiver, the trouble is it will not recognise my Dragon Cam. The cam works o.k. in other receivers. Is there a patch or update for this. Help much appreciated

Anyone know how to add new satellites to a technomate 1500CI and then add the channels. I'm looking to pick up 55.5 deg west for sportmax as it is showing the cricket and prem football for free!!
