I am new also have new reciver Technomate 1000 D TM.

I need ur help if you could help me to find any software/Loaders/Dark.../Patch... or any other direction to start with!

I use the darkman loader, switch the box off at the back, connect the box to the computer, run the loader and it will detect the box and ask you to switch it on, then click the start button and it should load straight away, you don't need to remove the dish connection. Are you clicking the software button in the loader?

As far as I know you have to switch the patch off in the receiver to use a cam, there's a 4 number code to type into the system menu, I've seen this on one of the sat sites

I have tried what you said many times with different loaders, patches and nul modem cables. But when I switch the box on the software just says version 1.24 detected and shows the cancel button. Then it just sits there doing nothing, until I get fed up and click cancel. It then says download cancelled.

When you mention the software button in the loader. Are you talking about the start button that should appear?
I have attached an image of what does appear.
I also got a lot of help from the guys at world of digital but still no luck.

I have tried to contact Technomate by e-mail but so far got no reply.

Before you load the patch, press "software" in the loader " and load the patch then continue as above, its obvious the loader is communicating with the stb to get the Ver message, your patch must have a "stb" ext. If you are doing all this then it seems your nul modem lead could be the culprit, also check the settings for your port in the Device Manager, the BPS should be 9600

since i patched my technomate with new patch dating on march 2006 ,i just had the p**sat channels all opened for the first time. the second time i turned on the receiver, the p**sat package got scrambled! do anybody has an idea what's happened to it?
