Revenue increase at Mediaset Premium

mediaset-card-2011Mediaset Premium has reported a revenue increase of 7.3% in the first nine months of 2013 after the launch of new sports channels on the DTT pay platform.

The combination of pre-paid cards and top-ups [recharges] brought in €410.3 million.

Fox Sports was added at the end of July following an agreement with Fox International Channels. It offers coverage of the Premier League and FA Cup the Spanish Liga and the French Ligue 1.

Eurosport and Eurosport 2 were added the following month, with Mediaset emphasizing the breadth of its sports coverage beyond just football.
