Steady results from Cyfrowy Polsat

Cyfrowy Polsat ended the third quarter with 3.526 million DTH subscribers, or 0.9% less than a year earlier.

Although its revenues from individual subscribers in the quarter were – at PLN484 million (€115.1 million) – 7% up on a year earlier and EBITDA also 7% higher at PLN183 million, its net income fell by 3% to PLN104 million.

The group as a whole had revenues of PLN716 million (+11%) and EBITDA of PLN268 million (+4%) in Q3, while its net income amounted to PLN176 million (+3%).

As of Q3, 80% of Cyfrowy Polsat subscribers had HD decoders and 18% of the base (equivalent to over 620,000 subscribers) used Multiroom.

Its internet subscriber total rose by around 80% over the year to 209,000, while the mobile subscriber total stood at 132,000.

The average number of monthly users of its internet service ipla was around 3.3 million.
