Netflix was the most popular VOD service in Sweden during the third quarter, according to audience researchers MMS.
For the first time its autumn survey measured daily viewing to the service. It found Netflix was watched by 308,000, representing a third of those who had access to the streaming service.
“Netflix continues to strengthen its position. But it should be noted that both SVT Play and Aftonbladet TV has many more daily viewers”, says MMS CEO Magnus Anshelm.
Runner-up Viaplay had a daily range of 128 000 people in the same age range.
The survey covered the 9-99 age range.
