Scrambled or not?

Hi all
I have a technomate 1500 running darkman patch (4-1-07) with a t-rex 4.6 and presaurus 2.12. I have done the security update and all went ok.
I have found that some channels (on 13e) come up saying 'scrambled channel' for about 10-15 mins, then they decode and show for about 2 mins! Am I doing something wrong? it seems to be only on some viaccess channels, but not all, some show fine all the time. I have only had the set up 3 days, so you could say I'm new to this LOL! Any guidance would be much appreciated.
