Parasol only states his point of view on oscam, thats fine.
Please give me an idea how to mix multics and oscam because right now lot of my peers ask me to migrate in cacheex=2 and camd35 with multics is not possible for now.

Probably will be the best to create some bridge between both camds because I have a lot multics cache peers and I don't want to loose them.

Oscam for RPi with applied patch is attached bellow.

Thumbs up Re: OSCAM Hashed Tables (beta code-release)

    Split them:
    Multics with multics.
    Oscam vith oscam.
    cache from oscam to multics=yes
cache from multics to oscam=no (i suppose)

    @turbopower
blueven patch works with r9072 (recomended)

    The real probblem are this.
A lot of people use multics cache ex excange with oscam.
Bad or not is not my probblem.
But i think oscam is the best!
no huge craps-who send craps was kicked out
    small peers hop-max 3 ( i use 2)
    no csp allowed ( cache)
    PS:
i found a lot of ppl who came to me to exchange mode 1 or 2

    @turbopower:
I have no idea. I use oscam only for months now.

MCS seemed not made for any volume of cache in my testcases, and CSP itself brings nothing useful to me, so i dont run it.

Why right now the fashion is changed to cacheex mode 2?
Is there something specific regarding to HT?

"Fashion" :D (you used google translate right ?)

But i think i understand what you mean..., and i have no idea.
Mode-2 works fine, same for Mode-1 and Mode-2.

    Why would people change ?

Mode 3 is a classic of the genre, this is the mode that is widely used for cacheex. Now works good, I don't see no reason to switch to another mode.

Re: OSCAM Hashed Tables (beta code-release)

Mode-3 is if you have enough bandwith and no download cap...

Mode-1 you can use for home setup where you are bound to your providers limit

    Question:
    Suppose i have following setup

Oscam receiver (1) (with local) <- cacheex mode 1 -> oscam server (2) with locals and cache <- cacheex mode 1 -> oscam server (3) with locals and cache

if i zap on the receiver will i get cache or hits from oscam server (3) if they are not available on server (2) or will it just stop the request. Also what will be the latency for that?

Mate cs378x mode is more secure and safe.
Filtering best csp craps or multics cache hwo are not good.
With mode 2 ore 1 we have a little bit more control of who we exchange.
A lot of us use multics and no one are dispose to change to mode 2.
Let's oscam make his best part because this is the truth.
More stability, more hits-why is cache ex made for?

    @gimic
you look for small ping above 100ms or a good and stable CS?

Some one tell me on PM i'm scaming here-because he want's all cache with stable ping. But this is other point of view.
We don't need huge amounth-using mode 3 we have on cache 10 times or 100 times more the same dw we nee 1-and if is into we need to provide to peer.
Now all cache decrease but increase hits and is more stabble because charging of processor come down.

Example: a lot of people tell me -i want to see ping under 80 ms from 09cd card?
For me are good under 642 ms all dw because under this time 09cd work's fine without freeze.
It's is a stupidity---im my point of view.
latency= time from cache+time from card+time from net if are above a 500 ms value for 09 card and above 90 for 17 it sems we can watch tv without freeze.
I watch a channel using dw above 250 ms and my friend using a 80 ms. This don't speed up time to watch. The moviea beggins and end at the same hour for both of us :)

I am not using google translate.
"Fashion" is only expression, I've exchange cacheex-3 with many peers and since yesterday lot of my peers asked me for switching to cacheex-2 and camd35. For me that is like new Fashion.
For camd35 is good idea because is fast.

Cacheex 2 is designed to use mixed requests between normal and cache exchange, probably is good for beginners or people with limited internet connection and small amount of peers.

    szent
You can use cacheex -3 with camd35 without any troubles.

    Conclusions:

There is no idea to cacheex 2 switching when you have a loot of peers and datacenter based server.

For me cacheex 2 mean: small amount of cache, and home broadband or server with traffic limit.
