Lagardère and France Télévisions (FTV) - both shareholders in the free DTT family channel Gulli - have formerly agreed on the acquisition by Lagardère Active of FTV's 34% stake in the channel.

The deal, worth an estimated €25 million, should be finalised early this year.

After months of talks, both groups have settled on an agreement after the French pubcaster confirmed it would not launch any competitive kids' offer.

France Télévisions will evolve and open up France 4's line-up to daytime children's programming. However, over the 2014-2016 period, the PSB group will limit the amount of advertising slots aimed at children.
