Cloudio launches app for Samsung connected TVs

Strengthening its smart TV video applications portfolio, Samsung has added the Cloudio TV app from IPTV and over the top (OTT) firm Southern Cloud on its connected TV range.

Available as a free download, the app gives Samsung connected TV owners access to a growing number of free and subscription services including Indian broadcaster Sun TV’s and Vietnam’s VTC ‘Ex Pat’ bouquets, as well as access to a number of free services.

"It’s a milestone on our technical roadmap and we are already working on several other smart TV platforms and mobile/tablet devices.
