hi all,
just got e/link 3020ir plus,read the book,plugged it in did channel search
half channels are missing,tried all ways to search no idea wots wrong,
also got el777fta no problem with that,manhattan 450,no probs with that
got latest soft for 3020 got t*s and prem,any body got any suggestions,

Did you do a network search rather than a preset search. I found nearly 300 channels more on hotbird with the network search.

thanks for reply,did all searches,user,nit,all ways,tried indeviduel TPs
no joy,it seems to be the range of signal,certain TPs no signal,got el777fta no probs signal strength good,search ok with manhattan,seems im missing something somehow,still trying.

Hi Wolfdog,

Seems somthing maybe wrong with the receiver try downloding the soft from http://www.srsupport.com/srsupport.html

Look for your model and try the soft it may help.

tried new soft no result,i think its me m/c working fine,decodes
t*s,prem,ok,channels i have fine,il keep trying,bound to find it sooner or later.

hi sporting 2006,
think i may have it sorted,got 3 recievers on go,only 1 sat cable,got single 2 double on 2 recievers and loop through from manhattan 2 e/link 3020,it seems whatever channel you close in stand by is the tp your new reciever zeros in on,if it is a week tp you miss the channels,so without taking all my cables appart need know to strongest tp and hopefully all will be well,tried it a couple of times with random tp and got more channells,so as stupid as it seems it works,so if anybody else has a problem missing channels try direct sat cable instead of loopthrough,thanks for your interest sporting,

Great news Wolfdog,

The EL plus range are meant to be very good receivers. Please let me know your oppinion of yours. I cant get hold of one at the moment. But the fortec star 4200 has the same Ali C chip and is dirt cheap at £40.00 UK so i might see it i can't adjust the echo soft for the 4200.

ive had e/link from the biggining,as a secondary stb,t*s always available plus prem and di*i tv,with more emphasis leaning towards chip downloads rather than cam soft but e/link seem to be one step ahead of the rest so i would go for the e/link and pay a few quid more for a better m/c,good soft are always available from various sites,i like em.

hey guys,

i have an echolink 777 fta and i tried to upgrade its software. i tried this using srsupport and i used a DB9 (0 modem) cable. however, when i tried this, i could not get a connection between my STB and PC. i kept getting the message "target is not connected or is in error status". can anyone help me with this problem? i assume i need to upgrade my software in order to enter keys into the reciever.
