Publisher eyes Polish TV investment

Point Group Platforma MediowaUndeterred by last year’s failure to secure a DTT licence, the publishing company Platforma Media Point Group (PMPG) still has plans to enter Poland’s TV market.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, its president Michal Lisiecki said that it is currently engaged in talks with three players already active in the industry.
It also cannot rule out entering the TV industry on its own.
PMPG, whose current interests include the weekly publications Wprost and Do Rzeczy, bid for a spot on Poland’s first multiplex last year but ultimately missed out to Fokus TV.
