CAS 3 in Vista?

Cas 8,5 works with vista sp1 very well

Hello m8s, unluckily Cas Interface Studio 8.5a is not working for me on Vista.
I tried installing windriver, tryed with CIS version 7.9c - nothing. The program won't start. Tried all versions between 7.9 and 8.5: nothing.

My PC is a laptop and has got a PS/2 mouse pad (IRQ 12). Also, CIS seems to mess around with IRQ 12 when starting, could this be an IRQ conflict? Have you got any experience on this issue?

Problem solved: it was Vista overprotecting itself from hardware access. Just had to follow the help box from the taskbar and allow a protection exception for the executable "Cas Interface.exe". Then it worked.
