Network Ten’s Sochi app is a hit

Network Ten’s Sochi 2014 On Ten app has been a hit with Australians, with more than 120,000 downloads since its release on 31 January.
The Sochi 2014 On Ten app and tenplay, Network Ten’s digital platform, have seen more than 630,000 video views and more than 1.35 million page views of content since 6 February, the day before the Winter Olympics started.
The free app is available on Android and iOS, and features eight simultaneous live streams, including all of the Olympic action live as broadcast on TEN and ONE, as well as six dedicated live streams straight from Sochi.
All Olympic events are available as catch-up, with a highlights function that allows users to jump to key moments. The app also provides access to live event results, athlete information, statistics and the medal tally, as well as a schedule of events and coverage.
Viewers can also watch the Winter Olympics via tenplay, which is hosting eight dedicated 24-hour live streams, full catch-up for all events, highlights packages and streaming of all related shows, including Sochi Tonight and Sochi Live.
Content is also be available via tenplay Xbox 360 and Xbox One, tenplay iOS, tenplay Windows 8 app and Sony Bravia IPTV app.
