Sky Deutschland secures Paramount movies

Sky Deutschland can continue to offer its subscribers movies produced by US studio Paramount Pictures on its video-on-demand (VOD) services as the German pay-TV broadcaster has renewed its licence deal with Paramount Pictures Germany for several years.

The agreement, the financial details of which have not been disclosed, covers the screening of current and future paramount films on VOD services Sky Select and Sky Anytime.

The package includes titles such as Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit with Chris Pine and Kevin Costner, Labor Day with Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin as well as the sequels of franchises such as Transformers, Paranormal Activity and Terminator.
