hi to all , I have a problem and idon't know how to resolve it. I connect the sat receiver to pc wiht a null modem cable and run the software in order to upgrade the firmware but the receiver continues with the leds blinking . It seems like the receiver doesn't receive any signal. Anyone can help me please? Thanks

perhaps your cable null modem is not OK try to change it

Hi,

There is one thing you have to take in concideration when upgrading Smartbox:

Smartbox are not upgraded in the same way as Starsat, but you should put the receiver on Stand by mode then send the firm

Smartbox in stand by mode displays this on the pront panel -- : --

All Ok. I tried the conection with another Pc and the upgrade works.One exception :Redlight and sexview didn't work
