WeTek team is proud to announce the final release of OpenELEC 5.0 for WeTek Play.
New in this release:
•Full support for WeTek DVB tuners - DVB-S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, ATSC
•Support for smooth playback of the movies with 23.976 frame rate
•Deinterlacing support for FullHD 1080i content
•Enabled support for ftdi_sio and Prolific 2303
To install OpenELEC to WeTek Play you don't need to overwrite your Android installation. Just write OpenELEC to an SD-card, and enjoy both of the worlds at the same time with dual boot.

To install, unzip the provided archive and use a tool, such as Win32DiskImager ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/) to create a bootable SD-card. Turn off your WeTek Play, insert the SD-card, turn on the box again and enjoy OpenELEC. If you want to boot Android, just turn off the box, eject SD-card, turn on the box again, and you'll see Android booting.

WeTek team is proud to announce the next stable release of OpenELEC for WeTek Play - OpenELEC 5.0.6.
New in this release:
- Fixed an issue when HDMI CEC stops working after a while
- Fixed RCU infinite button presses auto-repeat
- Wi-Fi and LAN LEDs on the from panel are working now as intended
- Other bug fixes and enhancements

looks like these boxes are no longer supported or used? trying to find one with a working OpenVPN on Enigma2
