why the hell cant u give us old vip who have been in the forum for a long while and erned the status a proper explonation
The old vip status has been removed, donator status has been renamed to VIP, it's made much cheaper and with more options.
New promotions are for old vip members are going to be made shortly.

a lot of forums are giving vip status to lolal members it for free for there loltay the den is the worst for making a profit he dose it every year whats with the good old days like d mac
I am still working on this situation.
When the vip status was removed I emailed all vip members but those emails where not send by my server because the email was send to users with vip status and when the server begon there was no vip member left.
Because I made a backup after that I have no way to see who had vip status before.
A new vip system will return combined with the donator system but there are still many errors. 70% of all donators where not changed to the new status and those have to be helped first.
Once these accounts work properly a new system will be activated that automaticly changes members into vip members by calculating their postcount and other activity on the site.
Before many users have been made vip because they are a friend of any of the staff members or a staff member on a different board.
The new system will be a fair system that see every member as equal and will promote those members when they have reached a certain goal (activity/posts/uploads/etc..).
The new vip status is free when a member reached that goal. but can also be bought for 29,95 a year. Which is only used to pay for the server and other stuff for the site (if you don't believe me I can make screenshots from all the bills and income on paypal).
I have no way of telling which user was a vip before so it's possible your vip status won't return but users that are passed the goal will change back to orange automaticly.
