AFAIK there are 2 checks

A local blacklist
and a remote account check
The local blacklist was cracked by Dr.XJ.

Your username and serial are checked first in the local blocklist. If it caught you, a prompt asking for a username and serial appears. This was cracked however it didnt stop the application from making a http request to dvbviewer.com. After it caught you, video feed would stop and you will get a no hardware found error.

1. Disconnect from the internet (long winded but it works)
2. Block it using your firewall
3. (if you dont use a firewall) add

127.0.0.1 www.dvbviewer.com

to your HOSTS file.

If you had previously accessed the internet and your blacklisted serial was caught, you must reinstall DVBViewer, crack and block it before using it.

The http request may either provide an updated blacklist or provide remote checking, either case once its blocked it works.
Setup.exe serial authorisation may again just check against a local blacklist since DR.XJ's serial works in setup but gets caught once online.

you don't have to reinstall it, just erase this file, it will be regenerated automatically.

Was looking everywhere for that folder and I could have sworn I was in application data for all my users too.

Oh n BTW, that crack by Dr .XJ is bad. Causes crashes at times.
Currently the beta (3.6.1.2) at the time of this post doesn't blacklist this serial

If running Vista also check for the file in location: C:\ProgramData\CMUV\Dvbviewer\setup.xml

You don't need crack or anything. Simple edit "host" file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ directory. You must add "127.0.0.1 www.dvbviewer.com" . I need plugins for DVBViewer, but I haven't an Account to dvbviewers members area. Can somebody post valid login or plugins files, please. THX

is there a crack for DVBVIEWER GE 2.3.2 ? ( 'cause it is the only software wich can use hw h.264 decoder, the pro version does not :/)

No need to delete all the file. Just erase this line:
<entry name="MpegRec">1</entry>
in the first section ("General").

but everytime I start dvbviewer... it ask one time to press OK about password ... then it's works gr8
