Progdvb newbie

Hello everyone,
I just recently got my hands on a skystar 2 express hd and after installing it in my pc I am trying to find good program from munal scan and stuff like that. So I can across progdvb, however I do not know how to use it at all. How do I see whether my skystar 2 hp express is working correctly? How do I do a manual scan? Blindscan? If there is a tutorial for newbies I would appreciate if you would give me the link.
