Iptv server how to build?

Hi, all I'm after info on how to stream a few channels so few people can watch them through simple TV or vlc.
I'll need to know what hardware / software and everything really only want to stream 2-3 channels to several boxes any help will be really appreciated.

You can easily introduce a list of url channels in a test archive with the extension .m3u. Then with vlc open that archive and you will see the channels live.
