Zinwell ZDX-7500 setup for C1

Having trouble loading C1 to receive austar (legit. card)
Set Lnb to correct setting and select C1 sat. from satellite menu.
Do a auto scan but set locks up at about 60% scan and only way to reset is to power down and back up again.
Have tried two boxes but same problem?
Any help please ?

I've had a Zinwell ZDX-9111 for years and it has always [occasionally] locked up. It must be unplugged to clear.
