Fusion has launched the Watch Fusion app on Sony smart TVs.

Fusion will be listed among over-the-top (OTT) apps like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon and Hulu.

In addition to a mix of long- and short-form video content, the app provides an authenticated live stream of the Fusion network and additional video-on-demand (VOD) programming to most customers who subscribe to Fusion’s linear TV network through a cable or satellite TV provider. Sony customers will have a range of on-demand content to watch at any time, including video highlights from Fusion’s daily and weekly topical programmes such as America with Jorge Ramos, Nightline on Fusion, The Chris Gerhard Show, The Dan Le Batard Show With Stugotz and No You Shut Up!.

In addition, the on-demand content includes digital video series such as This Shouldn’t Be News with Alikah Hughes, Asking For a Friend, The Illipsis with Jay Smooth, Genius, Wisdom and a number of mini-docs. Users will also have access to full episodes of Fusion original series, documentaries and specials.

Fusion recently launched a TV everywhere app available for all of Roku's connected streaming media players and Roku TV models at well.
