Italy discovers Mum Detective

Spanish format Mum Detective's Italian version has debuted on Mediaset's Canale 5, following success in markets including the US and Russia.
The format has been entitled I Misteri di Laura - similar the original Spanish version Los Misterios de Laura which aired on RTVE, the US version The Mysteries of Laura which aired on NBC - aims to lead Tuesday's prime time in Italy.
The series adaptation transfers several of the cases solved by Laura Lebrel in Spain to Turin and was directed by Alberto Ferrari with Carlotta Natoli playing Laura Moretti. The Italian cast is completed with Daniele Pecci, Eleonora Sergio, Gian Marco Tognazzi, Daniele Foresi, Matteo and Leonardo Frontoni, Fatima Trotta and Giulia Salerno.
In addition to Russia and the US, the Boomerang TV series has also been sold across Latin America in territories like Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and the Dominican Republic.
Mum Detective is a police comedy that chronicles the adventures of Laura Lebrel, a woman struggling to juggle her professional career as a police inspector with her personal life.
