Argentina's co-operative pay-TV goes everywhere on Toolbox

Colsecor, the association of pay-TV co-operatives and small operators in Argentina, has selected Toolbox to launch Colsecor Play, its TV everywhere platform.


Using the Cloud Hub, Cloud Pass and Cloud Experience technologies, Colsecor Play intends to offer a full TV everywhere experience to its subscribers across the country.

Through Cloud Hub, services like Fox Play, Fox+, Colsecor Mediateca, ESPN Play and TyC Sports Play will be delivered through a single platform, available for computers, smart TVs and connected, mobile devices. Live channels, music signals and web TV are also to be added.

Cloud Pass has been selected by Colsecor to simplify the log-in process, using the same data independently of the used device. “Subscribers do not need to log in again when they change device, they're able to start watching content on one screen and finishing in another without repeating the log-in process,” explained Pamela Valdecantos, account executive, Toolbox.

The Cloud Experience technology has been chosen to deploy a simple, user-friendly interface in which live content, third-party platforms and video-on-demand (VOD) gathers.

“We're proud of Colsecor trusting Toolbox to develop this new service, which delivers a truly multi-screen experience,” adde Valdecantos.
