The Voice hits the high note in Angola

Talent format The Voice has successfully entered the African market with a localised version for Angola on M-Net, according to the globally popular show's developer Talpa.
VoicePaulo Flores, Yola Semedo, Dji Tafinha and Walter Ananáz are judging the AMPN-produced Voice of Angola, which made its debut on pay-TV platform DStv on 11 October.
"We have a strong track record with The Voice: the record-breaking show is currently being watched on every continent with close to 65 local productions worldwide, airing in over 180 territories. We at Talpa are thrilled that The Voice is now represented across the African continent, including The Voice of Angola," said Gepke Nederlof, head of global licensing, Talpa.
The show is also being launched in the Ivory Coast and Cameroon by the broadcaster Voc Africa.
