Next Limit Technologies and BRB Internacional have launched a Safari Zoobabu app, based on Screen 21's animated kids’ series Zoobabu.
Safari Zoobabu offers users the chance to venture on a safari, allowing them to explore the world of Zoobabu from their PC or laptop. After signing up for zoobabu.roombox3D.com, users can choose between eight different locations and explore the scene to discover over a hundred hidden animals. As their silhouettes are discovered, they can be captured with the app’s virtual night vision camera.
Available in English and Spanish, Safari Zoobabu is one of the world's first games with WebGL, a Web technology that brings hardware-accelerated 3D graphics to the browser without the need to install additional software. It has been produced with Next Limit's Maxwell Render technology, which reproduces photo-realist images from 3D models.
Produced in Spain, the Zoobabu series has aired on TVE’s Clan, Super3 and Canal Panda, and internationally on RAI in Italy, Discovery Kids in Latin America, Disney in Japan, Radio Canada and Knowledge in the USA, as well as on-demand via Netflix in several countries.
