Atresmedia eyes international market with new fiction catalogue

Atresmedia has presented its new fiction proposal along with the renewal of its most successful productions, looking to increase international distribution.



bajosospechaThe Spanish media group will premiere three new productions in the current season: El Incidente - a thriller starring Marta Etura, Bárbara Lennie and Miguel Fernández; Buscando El Norte - a comedy with Antonio Velázquez and Belén Cuesta; and the long-awaited Apaches, based on the novel with the same name.

Allí Abajo, Vis a Vis, Bajo Sospecha and the year's most watched production Mar de Plástico will all see second seasons.

Atresmedia also intends to extend its international momentum during the current season, after having achieved distribution deals in Europe and Latin America last year. The Time in Between and Old Bridge's Secret have seen audience success in Italy and have aired in other territories including France, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Croatia, Canada and the US.
