In times of cord-cutting, pay-TV has become a solid entertainment alternative for Chile's millennials, who watch it for more than three hours per day.
A recent report by the Latin American Multichannel Advertising Council (LAMAC) shows pay-TV consumption has rocketed by 44% during the last four years. Pay-TV is now watched by millennials for 43 minutes more on average per day compared with four years ago.
The LAMAC report has been built on IBOPE figures for the period January-September 2011 and Kantar IBOPE digits for January-September 2015.
