Gartner has positioned Kaltura as a leader in the 2015 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Video Content Management.
The company is also positioned the furthest for 'completeness of vision’ in the report grid.
Kaltura has launched an open video platform-as-a-service (VPaaS) based on hundreds of APIs for video creation, ingestion, transcoding, management, protection, distribution, search and discovery, publishing, engagement, monetisation and analytics. This multi-tenant platform can reside on any cloud or be deployed on premise.
Kaltura’s VPaaS enables the company to customise products for customers, to build new standalone video products, or to ‘videofy’ other products and services.
“2015 has been another exciting year for Kaltura, with stellar growth for the company on all fronts. As this great year comes to a close, we are honoured to, once again, be formally recognised by Gartner as a market leader, positioning us the furthest for completeness of vision our industry,” said Kaltura chairman and CEO Ron Yekutiel.
“Kaltura’s audacious mission since inception to ‘power any video experience’ has given birth to the most robust, modular and flexible platform in the market, from which dozens of video products have been built, catering to the widest range of use cases in use by companies of all sizes from all industries including media and entertainment, telecommunication, corporations and educational establishments. In 2016 and beyond we are committed to continuing to expand and accelerate innovation, and to foster continued openness and collaboration within our open source community, which is already more than 120,000 members strong.”
